April 9, 2017
Knox Village Soup: At a special open town meeting March 28 in Waldoboro [Maine], 40 residents turned out to voice their opinions and vote to approve appropriating $149,937 from the undesignated fund balance to make necessary repairs and improvements to the Pine Street Landing.
The request is to match a Maine Department of Transportation Small Harbor Improvement Program grant.
At its Feb. 28 meeting, the Board of Selectmen voted to call an open town meeting for March 14, which was postponed because of inclement weather.
