Lobster Boat, Schooner Collide in Boothbay, Maine

Boothbay Register: Four passengers were rescued Wednesday afternoon, September 2, after a lobster boat collided with a local chartered schooner near Tumbler Island.

The Lazy Jack, a 48’ schooner, was struck in its stern and sustained substantial damage, according to Sea Tow boat captain Amy Armstrong, who responded to the distress call shortly after 1:00 p.m.
