Long Island Sound Receive C-Plus Health Grade

CTPost.com: An environmental group on Tuesday released a report card for the health of Long Island Sound with a barely passing grade for overall progress and government commitment over the past 10 years.

Efforts to improve the coastal and wildlife habitats earned the only A’s. The report by the Connecticut Fund for the Environment and its Save the Sound program noted the several marsh-restoration projects, fish ladders and other measures.
