MA Woman Makes Historic Swim

Helen Lin, a 31-year-old Quincy, Massachusetts resident, made history Monday, when she became the first person to make the 18-mile round-trip swim from Nantasket Beach in Hull to Northeastern University’s Marine Center in Nahant, according to an article on PatriotLedger.com.
Lin, a marathon swimmer, made the swim in 11 hours and 29 minutes. She left Nantasket Beach at 7 a.m. and returned at 6:29 p.m. She arrived in Nahant at about noon and took a 10-minute break before resuming her swim.
