Maine Boatbuilder Launches New Yacht

Wilbur Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine, recently launched a new 45’ yacht built for a chartering fishing business in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

According to an article on MDIslander.com, the 45’ Wilbur Millennium Marine Sportfish has the ruggedness of a Down East yacht and the amenities of a luxury charter boat. It features a 16-foot by 25-foot open air aft deck finished with snow white Awlgrip, shaded mezzanine seating and a 150-gallon live bait well. The 30’ carbon fiber green stick pole allows fishermen to trawl for several hundred-pound tuna at a time.
