Maine Couple Thanks Rescuers After Icy Plunge

Bangor Daily News: A Maine couple is thanking the first responders who helped pull the woman to safety from frigid tidal waters after she tried to rescue their dog from the ice near their Machiasport home.

Susan and Wayne Tinker are crediting neighbors they never met, local and state police, and a bevy of other rescuers for saving both Susan and the dog on Saturday (Feb. 12) evening.
