Maine Ice Fisherman Rescued

Portland Press Herald: A man fishing on a Poland Lake [Maine] had to be rescued after falling through the ice.

Fire Chief Mark Bosse says the man walked about 1,500’ out onto the ice of Thompson Lake on Sunday night [March 31] to go ice fishing. While he was walking back to shore in the dark he tripped on a ridge in the ice and fell.
