Man Launches Car at Cape Cod Boat Ramp

The Cape Cod Times reports that a Volvo sedan coasted into Saquatucket Harbor in Harwichport, MA, on Wednesday night after the driver left the vehicle in neutral at the top of the boat ramp at the Saquatucket Municipal Marina. The incident occurred around 8:46 p.m. The car drifted some 75’ from shore and was fully submerged when firefighters arrived. It was later removed from the water by a tow truck.
