Man Loses Hand in Waterskiing Accident

Salem News: A late-season effort to get in some water-skiing on Chebacco Lake turned grim for a Hamilton man after the line pulling him wrapped around his left hand, amputating a part of it on Friday afternoon [October 5].
James Bishop, 47, was rushed to Gordon-Conwell Seminary, where he was MedFlighted to a Boston hospital. According to police, the severed extremity—consisting of about three-fourths of his hand—was recovered and went to Boston with him.
