Mass Dolphin Stranding on Cape Cod

MyFoxBoston.com reports that 13 dolphins were stranded at First Encounter Beach in Eastham, on Cape Cod. The dolphins were first spotted struggling in shallow water on Wednesday afternoon.

After unsuccessfully trying to coax the animals into deeper water, volunteers drove them to Provincetown, where the dolphins were released. Two of the dolphins died during the operation.
