Massachusetts Program Offers Marina Discounts

The Massachusetts Marine Trades Association has relaunched its “Stay Local Boat MA Transient Boater Referral Program,” which offers dockage discounts to the marina customers who visit other participating facilities along the state’s coast.

The Stay Local program offers participating facilities one “discount card” per customer, which can be used to visit other facilities at a discounted rate.

Discount rates are as follows:

• 1 to 4 boats traveling receive a 10% discount on dockage
• 5 to 9 boats traveling receive a 15% discount on dockage
• 10 boats traveling receive a 20% discount on dockage

So far, the following marinas has signed on for the program in 2016:

• Constitution Marina*
• Newburyport Marinas*
• Hingham Shipyard Marinas*
• Brewer Onset Bay Marina
• Brewer Green Harbor Marina
• Brewer Plymouth Marine
• Cape Ann’s Marina and Resort
• Manchester Marine
• Steamboat Wharf Marina
• Kingman Yacht Center
