September 30, 2016

WickedLocal Plymouth: Efforts to get Mayflower II shipshape for the town’s 400th birthday got a boost this week. The Institute of Museum and Library Sciences has given Plimoth Plantation a $149,245 grant for structural rehabilitation of the replica ship.
The grant, which requires the museum to come up with matching funding, will be used to help put new planks on Mayflower II when it goes into drydock for more than 2 years in November.
