WickedLocal Plymouth: When the Mayflower II gets back home sometime this spring, be sure to pay your respects. When she leaves her berth in the [Plymouth] town harbor again in December it could be a long time before you see her again.

Plimoth Plantation officials have verified that in order to be sure to have the ship back in Plymouth in time for the 2020 celebration, restored to near-original condition, starting in December of this year, the Mayflower II could be in dry-dock at the Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard at Mystic Seaport for two consecutive years, into 2019.
