Menemsha Pier Rebuilding Begins

CapeCodOnline: Plywood covers part of the charred remains of the pier at Menemsha Harbor. The old Coast Guard boathouse that once stood next to the pier is gone, torn down several months after a mysterious fire engulfed it in July.
Now the rebuilding has begun.
On Thursday workers with Danvers-based C. White Marine Inc. used a large crane barge to install 50-foot-long steel piles next to a former parking area cut off in the middle of the harbor by the fast-moving fire.
