More MA Fishermen Caught with Illegal Sea Bass

The Cape Cod Times reports that the Massachusetts Environmental Police caught yet another black sea bass poacher in Buzzards Bay. The arrest was made Wednesday afternoon, June 4, at Taylors Point Marina Bourne. when he heard that had made yet another bust of fishermen allegedly poaching black sea bass.
The poaching bust was the third made by Environmental Police in just over 2 weeks in Buzzards Bay, and the 4th major one of the year.
The bust was made during a random patrol, in which a boat occupied by 2 men from Worcester were checked. One of the men did not have a recreational saltwater license, and the boat had 214 black sea bass onboard. The legal possession limit in state waters is 8 fish per person.
The names of the fishermen were not released.
