Museum Hosts Model of Historic Schooner

The Essex Shipbuilding Museum in Essex, Massachusetts, is now hosting a model ship of its historic schooner the Evelina M. Goulart, which was repaired at the museum, according to an article in the Gloucester Times.

The Evelina M. Goulart, launched in 1927, is just 1 of 7 surviving schooners built in Essex. The model of the 86’ vessel is just 40” long and was built and assembled in Israel.
