Nature Center Opens at Saco, ME, Beach

KeepMeCurrent.com: A new nature center, which opened Saturday [July 14] at Ferry Beach State Park in Saco, Maine, is designed to connect children of all ages to nature, according to Will Harris, director of the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands.
He said the center, which will feature hands-on discovery stations, as well as a variety of rotating and temporary exhibits and special programs, cost $250,000 to build.
