Wired reports that the U.S. Navy has completed testing of a new robot that looks and swims like a shark.

Called the GhostSwimmer, the underwater drone is 5’ long and nearly 100 pounds, and looks like a shark, complete with distinctive dorsal and pectoral fins. It’s part of an experiment to explore the possibilities of using biomimetic, unmanned, underwater vehicles, according to the Wired report.
