New Bedford Students Learn About Dredging

SouthCoastToday.com: Clad in full-body protective suits with rubber gloves and booties secured with duct-tape, Ory Todd, 16, and Molly Turner, 17, joked Thursday (May 16) morning that they looked like ghost busters.
But instead of cast members from the 1984 movie, the 2 New Bedford High School students were dressed as workers at New Bedford’s de-watering facility, the last stop for PCB-contaminated soil before it is shipped to a disposal site in Michigan.
