New England Boating TV has kicked off its second season of production, and what a season it promises to be! Co-Hosts Parker Kelley and Tom Richardson are hitting the water and traveling to locations throughout New England to celebrate the region’s rich boating lifestyle and beautiful venues—some well known and others off the beaten path. This summer, New England Boating TV is planning to visit Newport; RI; Bristol, RI; Falmouth, MA; Westbrook, CT; Norwalk, CT; Onset/Wareham, MA; Quincy, MA; Portland, ME; Sebago Lake, ME, and more.
New England Boating TV, sponsored by GMC Trucks and Pursuit boats in concert with their New England network of dealers, explores the region’s varied ports, bays, harbors and lakes, providing viewers with useful boating information and showcasing interesting things to see and do. Produced and directed by Gene Allen, the award-winning show focuses on a new boating destination each week. “It’s a blend of entertaining travelogue and informative boating guide,” explains Allen. “It appeals to all types of boaters, from fishermen and sailors to paddlers and cruisers.”
Each episode delivers advice from local experts on a variety of topics, including good places to fish, kayak, water ski, fuel up, grab a mooring or slip, or simply drop anchor and hit the beach. Viewers will also get historical background on each locale, as well as the scoop on local restaurants, shops and attractions.
New episodes are scheduled to air this fall on NESN (stay tuned for exact schedule).
