New England Boating TV, Sebago Lake Region, ME, to Air Monday, Dec. 1
November 27, 2014
Coming up on New England Boating TV, co-hosts Tom Richardson and Parker Kelley sample the sweet-water boater’s paradise of Maine’s Sebago Lake region, just an hour’s drive from Portland. First stop is Brandy Pond and the Moose Landing Marina—a full-service facility with a fuel dock, valet rack storage, boat-sales department, jetski and pontoon boat rentals and a launch ramp. It’s a very convenient place from which to launch, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, as the NEBO crew discovers as they splash their boat and head off in search of more aquatic adventures. And the Sebago area delivers!
Parker and Tom also take a scenic cruise along the Songo River with Moose Landing Sales Manager Will Monson as their guide. Along the way, Monson points out the local sites and points of interest as he steers along the Songo and passes through the historic lock system on the way from Brandy Pond to Sebago.
Of course, Sebago and Brandy are ideal for watersports, and Parker and Tom partake in some tubing and PWC action. They also check out Point Sebago Resort, which offers all manner of fun, water-related activities for the whole family, as well as a unique camping experience.
Last but not least, Parker and Tom are treated to an impromptu seaplane ride with local pilot Matt McFadden for spectacular aerial views of the local lakes and ponds.
If you love Maine, you won’t want to miss this episode!
