Norwich Bulletin: Federal environmental officials have been told that a current dredge disposal site about 3.5 miles south of New London Harbor is the most suitable for handling sediments dredged from navigation channels, harbors and marinas.

The Day of New London reports that the analysis by researchers at the University of Connecticut Marine Sciences Department was presented Tuesday [Dec. 9] to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It was based on an oceanographic analysis of 11 sites in eastern Long Island Sound.
