New Magazine to Focus on New England Boating

Lighthouse Publications, a Cape Cod-based publisher of high-end, regional-focused magazines such as Southern New England Weddings, Southern New England Living and Golf & Leisure Cape Cod, has announced the launch of New England Boating Magazine. Publication of the premier issue is scheduled for mid-February 2013.

New England Boating focuses primarily on the region’s many beautiful, interesting and exciting places to visit by water. Each article features an overview of a particular port, as well as important information boaters need to know about the area, including marina listings, anchorages, launch ramp locations, harbormaster contacts and where to find fuel and service. Also included are suggestions on local dining, accommodations, shopping, fishing and other fun, interesting things to do and see in port.

Readers seeking additional information on a particular destination can do so via QR codes directly linking them to articles and videos on New England Indeed, New England Boating’s co-founder, publisher and editor, Tom Richardson, will serve as Editor of the new magazine.

“Our goal is to bring each boating destination to life through intriguing, well-crafted articles and stunning photography that make the reader want to jump in his or her boat and visit these places,” says Richardson. “We also think the magazine will nicely complement the online advantages and features of New England Boating, and vice versa.”

New England Boating will be distributed to 35,000 readers via newsstand, boat shows, advertiser locations and direct mail to include advertisers’ clients and potential clients.
