Salem News: Two New Hampshire men were rescued Saturday morning [October 19] after their sailboat overturned and left them stranded in [Salem] harbor for more than 14 hours, police and fire officials said.

The boat capsized about 4:00 p.m. on Friday, and the men had no cellphones, lifejackets or flares, said fire Capt. Alan Dionne.

“They managed to get on the hull of the boat and spent the night there,” he said. “Their feet were in the water.”
