CapeCodOnline: Three men thought Wednesday’s sunny skies would make for a pleasant day of fishing, but their 21’ boat couldn’t handle whipping winds and high seas and they had to be rescued from their sinking vessel.

The 21’ boat had engine trouble around 5:30 p.m. and began taking on water, Hyannis Fire Chief Capt. William Rex said.
