Inquirer & Mirror: As of Sunday afternoon, both The Steamship Authority and Hy-Line Cruises suspended service on all boats to and from Nantucket in advance of the approaching Hurricane Sandy.
The SSA began canceling boats at 11:00 a.m., before announcing at 3:40 p.m. that it had suspended service for the day, and likely all of Monday and into Tuesday as well. The Hy-Line canceled the remainder of its Sunday fast-ferry service at noon.
