Author Harry Gratwick, whose books include Stories from the Maine Coast: Skippers, Ships and Storms, will discuss his research on the shipwrecks of Maine’s Penobscot Bay during a presentation at the Penobscot Marine Museum on Thursday, July 18  at 7 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the Revolutionary War shipwrecks of the ill-fated Penobscot Expedition, and hear exciting stories of more modern shipwrecks. Tickets in advance are $8 for museum members and $10 for nonmembers. Tickets sold at the door will be $12 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers.
