A boating skills and seamanship course will be offered at East Providence High School for 8 weeks starting on September 10, 2013.

The class will meet Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., and satisfies the boater-education requirements in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

In Rhode Island, boaters born after 1986, or those who operate personal watercraft (PWC), are required by law to take a certified boating-education class.

Cost: $50 per person
