Over two thousand gallons of New England clam chowder will be ladled out to thousands at Boston City Hall Plaza on Sunday, July 7, from 11:00 to 6:00 pm. During this Fourth of July tradition in Boston, restaurants vie for the prestigious title of “Boston’s Best Chowder,” by winning the most votes from the crowd.
This year’s 32nd Annual Chowderfest will bring together the best clam chowder recipes from some of New England’s finest restaurants. Anthem Kitchen + Bar will return to defend last year’s trophy against competitors that include Hyatt Harborside Grill, Chart House, and Ipswich Clambake Company.
Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for children under 12.
Chowderfest is just one of over 200 events taking place during the 32nd Annual Boston Harborfest. Free admission to over half the events makes the celebration accessible to all.
