Anthropologist, lecturer and writer Cathy Stanton will present a lecture entitled “Peddocks Island: A Study of Community” on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at the Nantasket Beach Resort, 45 Hull Shore Drive, in Hull, Massachusetts.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Stanton has been investigating the origins of the cottages on Peddocks Island. She is currently exploring whether this area can be classified as a “community” with the Boston Harbor Islands. Join us to learn more about the lineage and ancestry of this section of Peddocks Island and how this story is representative of the islands, the city and a changing nation.
The lecture is presented by the Hull Lifesaving Museum.
