The Boston Herald reports on a company in Brewster, Massachusetts,that delivers locally caught seafood from the Chatham docks to the consumer via a shares program. The shares vary in plans and price from $159 for a 3-week allotment to $169 to $249 for 5 weeks. Each week, share-holders receive 1 1⁄2 to 2 1⁄2 pounds of fish delivered to their doors, which works out to about 2 dinners.

Customers get 10 different species of fish over a 5-week share. The variety varies depending on season. For example, the fall 2013 share, featured black sea bass, swordfish, haddock, silver hake and skate wings.
