NorthShoreOfLongIsland.com: The Crab Meadow Watershed [on the North Shore of Long Island, New York] will soon be the subject of an extensive study, the results of which will contribute to a management plan to protect one of Northport’s most significant plant and wildlife habitats.
The Town of Huntington has entered into a contract with GEI Consultants of Huntington Station to conduct a “comprehensive hydrology study” as well as to draft a stewardship plan to guide the future of the watershed, an area of land where all of the water that comes off of it goes into the same place.
