Middletown Press: Connecticut’s State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials are working to decide how best to implement Governor Dannel Malloy’s latest round of budget “recisions”—which for the DEEP total $1.45 million.

But a lawyer for one of the state’s leading environmental organizations said the cuts—coming on top of previous cuts that already have hampered the DEEP’s work—are likely to have “devastating” consequences.
