New Haven Register: Three [Connecticut] shoreline towns have received state grants totaling $697,500 to help in the purchases of more than 100 acres to be preserved as open space, state officials announced Friday [December 28].

The Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisitions grants will support acquisitions in Branford, Guilford and Killingworth.
