If you love quahogs, you can learn about them and then enjoy a meal of them from the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen’s Association on Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m.

Quahogs are hard-shelled clams and come in many sizes, each with its own name. Ever eaten a cherrystone on the half shell? That’s a quahog. Enjoyed steamed littlenecks in white wine? That’s a quahog. You get the idea! Now, come learn more about the different methods of harvesting them in the wild from “scratcher” David Likos and “bull-raker” Mike Anderson. Then, enjoy some freshly dug clams prepared by Chef Steve Enos of Finely J.P.s Restaurant and Bar in Wellfleet.
Association members are admitted free; cost to non-members is $10.
