The Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies is opening enrollment for its 2014 summer Whale Camp. Space is limited.

Whale Camp is held July 7-9 and August 11-13, 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Highlights include the chance to step inside a life-size North Atlantic right whale, learn what it’s like to disentangle whales and turtles, collect and study whale food, learn to identify whales by their distinctive markings, study whale art and more. The camp culminates in a whale watch trip aboard the Dolphin Fleet. Participants will also have a chance to meet whale researchers and members of CCS Marine Animal Disentanglement Team.

Cost:

  • $125 (members)/$150 (non-members)
  • Receive 20% discount if you sign up before March 1.
