The 4-day Maine Lobster Festival will take place in Rockland from July 31 to August 4, 2013.

The event comprises 9 tents, a sea goddess, a parade, live entertainment, an international crate race, fine art, crafts, vendors, Navy ship tours, all-you-can-eat pancakes, free shuttle service, Coast Guard Station tours, professional and amateur cooking contests, marine heritage exhibits, road races, kids events, and over 20,000 pounds of lobster.

Admission:

  • Every Day Festival General Admission is available only at the gates.
  • On Wednesday, gates open at noon and close at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday admission is reduced to $5 for adults, $2 for children (ages 6 to 11).
  • Thursday through Saturday admission is $8 for adults, $2 for children (ages 6 to 12 yrs). Children age 5 and under get in free.
  • No admission will be charged on Sunday.

Navy Ship Tour Information: If you only wish to tour the Navy Ship, the no admission gate is located on the boardwalk next to the harbor. Tour sizes are limited and long waits are possible (restrictions include closed toe footwear).
