Boston-area boaters can get front-row seats to the upcoming Labor Day Weekend pyrotechnics display on Boston Harbor, scheduled for this Saturday, August 31 (2013). The display will celebrate the Boston Arts Festival and the closing of the Summer on the Waterfront series of events.
The fireworks will be launched from a barge anchored between East Boston and South Boston, and should be visible throughout the harbor, where boaters will have many good spots from which to view the display. Obviously, mariners should not try to anchor near the barge itself.
