Marine Meadows, the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, New York, eelgrass restoration group, is holding its second annual Save Our Seagrass benefit on Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the South Fork Natural History Museum.
The money from last year’s event was used to transplant more than 5,000 shoots of eelgrass into Sag Harbor area restoration sites.
The event includes a raw bar with local oysters and clams, prepared local scallops, local beer and wine and a live band.
The ticket price is $75.
