A sticky situation is unfolding in Bristol Harbor, Rhode Island, where a commercial fisherman has been ticketed by the town for tying up to the dock in front of Quito’s Restaurant, next to Independence Park.

According to EastBayRI.com, the boat owner claims that the dock has been approved by the state for commercial dockage; however, the owner of Quito’s wants to keep the dock off-limits, claiming that the restaurant maintains the dock and should not have its views of the harbor blocked by the vessel, which was tied up for over half a year.

Meanwhile, the town has fined the boat owner for disrupting harbor traffic.
