Pier People LLC has agreed to a penalty of $50,000 for safety violations associated with its underground storage tank system and fueling operations at the Wentworth by the Sea Marina in New Castle [New Hampshire].

N.H. Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and N.H. Department of Environmental Services Commissioner Thomas S. Burack announced Thursday that the Rockingham County Superior Court approved a settlement between the state and the defendants, Pier People LLC and Spenser Epperson. A portion of the penalty, $15,000, will be suspended provided the marina has no further violations, they said.
