Graves Island Lighthouse in Boston Harbor is currently for sale, according to an article in the Boston Globe. The antique five-story lighthouse built in 1903 sits on a 10-acre property, has incredible water views and a private dock. But it has its challenges, including needed repairs and the fact visitors must climb a 40-foot ladder to enter the lighthouse.

The working lighthouse 9 miles off the Massachusetts coast went on the auction block in June, under terms set by the National Lighthouse Preservation Act of 2000. Bidding stands at $101,000 and is expected to close next week, said Barbara Salfity of the General Services Administration, which is conducting the sale.
