Greenwich Time: The economic toll of Superstorm Sandy is coming into focus for the town of Greenwich [Connecticut], which estimates it will cost $2.5 million to $3.5 million to repair the damage to its public beaches and marinas alone.

“Not in my career have I seen a figure like this before,” said Joseph Siciliano, the town’s longtime parks director.
