Some capsized, some veered off course and some filled with water. But the girls about the (EM)2 paddled furiously back to shore in 2 minutes, setting the record time for the 4th annual Cardboard and Duct Tape Boat Race at Bristol Community College Wednesday afternoon [October 3].
“Oh, it felt great,” said Meghan Abella-Bowen, dripping wet along with math instructor Elizabeth Donovan as they climbed out of the (EM)2, their winning boat.
