Wicked Local Newburyport Current: A flatbed truck carrying a corrugated steel “storage rental unit” rattled down Annapolis Way. The truck was leaving Plum Island [Massachusetts] with remnants of salvaged household’s belongings and perhaps a number of shattered dreams for a Plum Island homeowner.
Thirteen houses were posted for “no occupancy” in the wake of last weekend’s Nor’easter and, according to Newbury Building Inspector Sam Joslin, 6 of those 13 are down “or will most likely be coming down by order of this department.” Three are on Annapolis Way and another three on Fordham Way.
