Trailer tire covers.
If you store your boat on a trailer during the winter, consider investing in a set of tire covers (including one for the spare).
Harsh winter weather and exposure to the sun can damage the rubber sidewalls, causing premature wear and cracks, which could lead to big headaches down the road (literally). Tire covers run anywhere from $10 to $20 apiece, depending on material, but you can find entire sets available on Amazon for under $20. You can often find them in stores catering to RV owners.
