Jamestown Press reports that skipper Tim Healy and his team on Helly Hansen, won the 60-boat J/70 class. Healy is a pro sailor for North Sails and a resident of Jamestown, Rhode Island. He repeated as class champ in Key West by winning 2 races and placing second or third in 5 others.
According to the report, north-northeasterly breezes to 24 knots made for some spectacular racing on all 3 courses and enabled all 10 classes to complete 10 races for the 5-day event.
