Kids will love this 5-day summer camp collaboratively led by Maine Maritime Museum and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust. The camp will help foster a child’s natural curiosity for history and science by exploring the ecosystem of Merrymeeting Bay, and the dynamic history that took part on its waters and along the shore that make it one of America’s most unique waterways.

Outdoor excursions and guided activities include hands-on projects, site visits to special locations, boat cruises and kayaking expeditions on the bay. Campers will gain a sense of stewardship for this special place.

Recommended for students ages 6-11.
