Lobsters are becoming the new symbol of climate change in New England, says a recent opinion piece in the Boston Globe.
While lobster populations have exploded in Maine, they have plummeted in southern New England. And a recent study found that the American lobster as a species has moved 43 miles northward in the last decade. Such dramatic changes in just a decade have lobstermen on edge.
