The Village of Freeport, New York, and the Towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay will hold a meeting on April 4 to gather community members, municipal representatives and recreational paddlers for an evening of ideas, discourse and discussion to help design a water trail on the south shore of Nassau County on Long Island.

The South Shore Blueway Trail Stakeholder Meeting will be held at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 Merrick Road, Freeport.
